Her artwork includes urban, household, and natural elements of the environment; plants and insects of the four seasons and their various stages of life.

"A person is better at remembering things that are temporary. This is one of the reasons why plants and insects have become an important part of the work; they dynamically change, and we can observe the cycles of life and the passage of time through them," — says Nana.
